The 2012 BET Awards Nominations

Yesterday all we needed to know about the 2012 BET Awards were announced by Stephen Hill, President of  Programing and Specials for BET Networks, at a press conference in New York including this year's rare choice for a host...Samuel Jackson!  Helping Stephen ring in the countdown to the festivities were Melonie Fiona, DJ Khaled, Mindless Behavior, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, Diggy Simmons and Astro Kid.

Sam's presence alone will have me tuned in even if Nicki Minaj performs the entire show and wins every dayum award BUT that is impossible because Nicki and Chris Brown are the only two artist said to be definitely performing at this time with a host of nominees...and the nominees areeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

With Kanye leading the pack with nominations does this mean we will get to see Kim Kardashian at a BET Awards show? Either way it looks like Jay will be smiling that night, even if he doesn't attend, with five nominations for himself, Kanye with seven and Beyonce with six.

BET will also honor the legendary Maze featuring Frankie Beverly with the Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award...why Cadillac tho? Anywho the show sounds very wealthy with entertainment and I look forward to BET's Whitney Houston tribute. Tune in LIVE July 1st at 8pm for the 2012 BET Awards.

If interested you can take a looksee at the106 & Park Nominations Special which aired yesterday.
