Celebrity Chef Nigella Lawson Choked By Husband In Public
Where they do this at?
British chef Nigella Lawson ,53, and her husband Charles Saatchi, 70, were seen in London having what looks like a heated argument on June 9 that quickly turned for the worse. During the disagreement Nigella's husband put his hands around her neck and at one time even pinching her nose while she can be seen looking as if she were terrified . The photos were published in British tabloid The Mirror on Sunday (June 16) which kicked off the public outcry.
At first response, Charles claimed the two were having a "playful tiff". Bullshit!
When I first saw these pics I was baffled. This woman not only has to deal with the personal shame and hurt by her husband's actions but now she has to deal with it publicly. Not only will these pictures forever be written in the world wide web history but I'm sure she's dealing with a lot of pressure as far as how she should feel and what she should do.
I'm sure it's easier said than done but she needs to leave this man. Time cannot be reversed to where this didn't happen or wasn't seen. I believe she should move on and take time to heal. What's the difference in hurting with him and hurting without? If he's gone the pain goes away and she moves on but if she stays the pain stays and maybe more abuse.
More than anything if this man did this to her in public there's no telling what he has done over the last 10 years of marriage or will do behind closed doors. I feel no sympathy for him only Nigella and her well being.
This is just horrifically disgusting.
BTW, Nigella's multi-millionaire art collecting husband turned himself into police voluntarily after pictures surfaced of this incident. Saatchi issued a statement via the newspaper that he writes for about this incident and turning himself in.
At this moment he doesn't have to only worry about his wife's response to all this (and hopefully a couple dangerous in-laws) or his image but there are anti-violence groups of all sorts calling for this guy's head. Now was it worth it?
I can't stop typing about this bastard! What the hell was so horrid that he couldn't just speak to her when they got home? Did he feel so helpless or victimized that he had to choke her in public? I don't care where it was he shouldn't have done. He's 70 freakin' years old!!!
He's a bastard. I pray for Nigella and her safety. This woman had to take the walk of shame out of that restaurant alone because her coward ass husband left her sobbing at the table to wait in the car for her. SHE CRIED LEAVING THE RESTAURANT.
Is it me, or should the other patrons of the restaurant who have all just about served as witnesses to The Mirror's article have done something? Anything?

"Although Nigella made no complaint I volunteered to go to Charing Cross station and take a police caution after a discussion with my lawyer because I thought it was better than the alternative of this hanging over all of us for months." - CS
