33 Couples Wed At GRAMMYs During Macklemore Performance

The big winners last night at the 56th annual GRAMMYs were Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who swept all four of the rap categories they were nominated for...don't wanna go there.

Anywho, their performance last night was nothing short of extraordinary. During their performance of "Same Love" Queen Latifah officiated a rather large wedding of 33 couples who were gay and straight afterward having Madonna song her hit "Open Your Heart".



I honestly liked this gesture but it just seems douchey now that  a few homophobic tweets have surfaced from the front man. And speaking of douchey check out what Macklemore posted to his Instagram account.

My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album... I'm honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO. And that's taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it's proper respect.. With that being said, thank you to the fans. You're the reason we were on that stage tonight. And to play Same Love on that platform was a career highlight. The greatest honor of all. That's what this is about. Progress and art. Thank you. #grammys

I wonder if Beyonce let him sip from her cup of D'USSE because this was wayyyy out of line but Kendrick Lamar didn't think so. If this were so sincere why was it made public? Why not simply say "you should have won". This reads like "I won but you should have but I'm just saying that to save everyone else from saying".
