Kanye West Pissed That Lena Dunham Graced The Cover Of Vogue And NOT Kim
In a fit of rage Kanye West decided to check Vogue EIC Anna Wintour about Kim Kardashian being over looked for the cover of Vogue once again.
Kanye West is said to be insulted that his fiancée Kim Kardashian has been overlooked again in favour of the multi-talented Girls writer and director Lena Dunham.The hip-hop artist allegedly confronted Vogue’s chief editor Anna Wintour at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge, demanding to know why Lena had been deemed a worthy cover star for February's issue.
Kanye, 36, believes Kim has a greater appeal than Lena and argued she is ‘just as talented as Lena, if not more so'.The source said: ‘Kanye knows that it’s always been a huge dream of Kim’s to be on the Vogue cover and Kanye wants to make it comes true. If nothing else, Kanye is persistent.'
The source added that Kanye is bitter because Anna is a personal friend, saying: ‘To Kanye, it’s insulting that his friend Anna is still refusing to even consider putting Kim on the cover of Vogue. He thinks Anna is listening to a bunch of “know-nothing” corporate haters, as he put it.
Oh he has some nerve but you simply have to love how much Kanye loves Kim. BUT this screams brand kill if you know what I mean.
No reality star, to my knowledge, has ever graced the cover of Vogue but it's obvious Kanye's persistent attempts at the coveted role for Kim are simply to legitimize her as reality royalty. Hell I caught an episode over the weekend of Keeping Up With the Kardashians where Kim told Khloe Kardashian she loved how everyone was calling her "the queen" after giving birth to the couple's daughter North. Really, gurl? Are you approving of this embarrassing ish? Would you want to get the cover of Vogue because you fiance is a nagging prick while the whole world knows why?
Anywho, Kanye's antics are probably going to ruin the chances of Kim getting on any cover of a legitimate fashion mag after this news/rumor makes it round. If I ran a long standing fashion publication other than Vogue and knew that thee Anna Wintour wasn't feeling Kim that just may sway me to look elsewhere as well.
Kanye some needs chill in his life. Even if this is a nasty rumor it isn't far fetched from his usual productions. And if this hurts Kim's brand in any manner the days of Kimye are numbered...
