VH1 Cancels 'Single Ladies' + Adds New Reality Show 'This Is Hot97' (VIDEO)

VH1 has announced that they are canceling Queen Latifah's Single Ladies after three seasons.

Single Ladies‘ third season is currently airing, with the upcoming March 24 season finale serving as series finale. “We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,” VH1 said in a statement to Deadline. “Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”Source
But don't fret the network is set to release their new reality show This Is Hot97 starring the employees of NY's famed HOT97 radio station.

How did we not see this show coming with Ebro Darden's various random appearances ("on-screen auditions") on other VH1 realities shows?

I was never a fan of Single Ladies, to me it just wasn't realistic. Too many pretty ass people with faulty story lines as if This Is Hot97 will be much different...less pretty people obviously. I'll watch simply for Angie Martinez because when I think of HOT97 I think of her but from what I just saw the show is scripted as hell and they've watched one too many urban reality shows.

Hopefully the whole Mister Cee fiasco was not filmed but I'm sure this bunch will do just about anything to trump The Breakfast Club's deal with REVOLT...mmmm hmmm.
