Chelsea Handler Signs On For Netflix Late Night Show
Streaming service Netflix has acquired the funny words of Chelsea Handler for a nightly talk show marking the move as the first of it's kind.
“Netflix is looking forward to reimagining the late-night talk show for the on-demand generation, starting with the late-night part,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement.
Last December Chelsea's contract with E! expired which is how she was semi-hired by Nextflix. I say semi because the gig doesn't start until 2016 although this August she will say good bye to her Chelsea Lately show after 7 years.
