Jada Pinkett Smith + Michael Strahan + Childish Gambino Confirmed For 'Magic Mike' Sequel
'Magic Mike' is coming back to a theater near you to reclaim all it's glory with a new star-studded cast in 'Magic Mike XXL'. Well the cast isn't entirely new with Channing Tatum coming back on board to portray the character that is loosely based on his life as a stripper. Yes, a stripper.
For those of you that aren't familiar with 'Magic Mike' here's a little background on the sequel...
Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, “Magic Mike XXL” finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.
Warner Bros has announced the addition of Donald Glover known by his stage name by many as Childish Gambino as well as Jada Pinkett Smith who will play a strip club owner and Michael Strahan.
Strahan announced the news via Live With Kelly & Michael on Monday while assuring fans that he would not be completely naked.
