With the return of Scandal nearing later this month we've got the first look at the new Season 4 cast photo. Obviously missing this season is Columbus Short with a few new additions including the show's new time block of 9/8c. The most noteworthy addition is the attire the cast is donning. They are rather snazzy for a promo photo but if you read into it a little more I am sure the photo is speaking volumes.  hope the season opens with some red tie affair that sets the tone for the whole season...like an inauguration ball!! Scandal returns to ABC September 25 and in case you want to get couch formal for the premiere the show's line at The Limited hits stores and online next week just in time for Season 4.

Shonda Rhimes sat down with TV Guide to dish some semi deets on everyone's favorite guilty pleasure Scandal . As most of us know Harrison ( Columbus Short ) will not be returning to the show. In this recent interview Rhimes divulges a little more info about what we the viewers can expect to see in Season 4 when the show returns September 24 to ABC. Is there a time jump going into Season 4? Shonda Rhimes:   When we leave, she's on a plane headed to God knows where. When we come back into the season, we find ourselves is a surprising place both time-wise and location-wise.   Papa Pope all but tricked her into getting on the plane. I have a aging infatuation with The Limited brand as my mother use to (and still does) love the store. So much so that she would splurge on her mini me (that's me) at The Limited Too more often than she did for herself at the parent store. Anywho fast forward to today... If you know anything about Kerry Washington she is very private. In the below interview with The Los Angeles Times Kerry opened up a tad bit about being a mother to daughter,  Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha ,  but not too much. During the interview Twitter fans were able to ask the actress questions which consisted of motherhood and of course her role as Olivia Pope on ABC's Scandal .

As if Liv needed any more drama added to her life... Tune in tonight at 10 pm on ABC to catch the second half of season 3 of Scandal . I know I won't be alone as I unconsciously try and tell which scenes Kerry Washington is noticeably pregnant in.

Viacom has acquired the rights to air episodes of ABC's Scandal from seasons 1 and 2 starting in the Fall on BET and will also air season 3 episodes after they've aired on ABC according to Hollywood Reporter . Under the pact, BET will begin airing seasons one and two of the  Kerry Washington  political-fixer drama this summer. Additionally, original episodes from the upcoming third season of the  Shonda Rhimes  series will air no sooner than eight days after original first-run episodes are broadcast on ABC. The deal for off-network repeats extends to additional seasons of the drama if it should continue its run (likely).   The sale comes as studios continue to enter the syndication market early ( Scandal  has produced a total of 29 episodes in its two seasons) in a bid to generate instant revenue rather than waiting for the typical 100-episode mark to explore off-network deals.
