As we all saw with our own eyes last month Beyonce 's MTV VMA performance was just as epic as being given the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award . Yet I think at times we really don't get how much goes into the preparation for a live performance, and let's be honest, Bey is one of the greats when it comes to live entertaining. In this behind the scenes video we're able to see more than just choreography goes into a Beyonce performance. The superstar can be scene creatively and artistically bringing her vision to life from stage construction to photo shoots that would eventually appear behind her as she performed live. And yes, even Blue Ivy makes and appearance accompanied by a few words from the beautiful tot. Now that's hard work and dedication.

Last night Beyonce accepted the prestige honor of being awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards . Leading up to the acceptance of her award Beyonce performed a medley of all tracks from her most recent album Beyonce . But it was Beyonce and Jay Z 's daughter Blue Ivy who stole the evening. Not only waving to fans in the pit, dancing in the crowd but also saying " Good job, Mommy " as well as offering a round of applause for her mother. Shutting the rumors down...I guess. If only we could have kept the Taylor Swift dancing shots to a minimum...
