Mariah Carey Disses Nick Cannon In New Track?

Image
Just when you already thought Mariah Carey was beyond being anymore off the hook she releases a diss track dedicated to her ex-husband Nick Cannon . IMO Carey's new track " Infinity " is simply reiterating what others have been saying for years about Nick but what I don't get is why she came out with it NOW? I've seen her Nick with their kids for dinners and even recent holidays ...what's the beef now?  Could this all be a publicity ploy? I mean she's thirsty enough at this stage in her career and well...Nick is corny and about his paper. Can we seriously rule out publicity? Like really get into these lyrics and the song.

Lil Kim Comes For Nicki Minaj in "Flawless" Diss Track

Image
I could have sworn Lil Kim had better things to do with her time like change diapers but I guess her throne matters just as much. The self-proclaimed Queen of Rap Lil Kim ( Queen Bee ) has a few choice words for Nicki Minaj in response to her collabo with Beyonce on the recently dropped ' Flawless ' remix. Ohhhh...who needs beef when you have a newborn who could care less about your your profession or your enemies. I wonder if Kim's new manager, Nicki's former manager, Big Fendi let her know all publicity is good publicity including the smidget she's giving Nicki now...as if she needed it?

Drake Releases New Track "Draft Day" In Honor of Friend Johnny Manziel

Image
Grammy award winner Drake and college quarterback/NFL hopeful Johnny Manziel 's bromance continues to burns as the Toronto rapper released a new track yesterday on October's Very Own Soundcloud which features a sample of Lauryn Hill 's " Doo Wop (That Thing) ". “Draft day, Johnny Manziel. Five years later how am I the man still. Draft day, A-Wiggins.” One day after it's release and Johnny's dedication track is being overshadowed by a potential Jay Z subliminal diss on the song. "I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town. You know they love to pop all that s**t when I'm not around. "But when I'm here, psst, not a sound." You see Drake and Hov are involved in a speculated rap beef right now after Jay Z recorded " We Made It " (which quickly got removed from the world wide web) with Jay Electronica publicly coming back at the rapper for comments he made in a Rolling Stone interview. "It's ...

Jay Z Gives Drake The Not So Pleasant Shout Out In New Song

Image
Drake tried it last month in an interview with Rolling Stone   where he was believed to have taken a cheap shot at Jay Z . In the interview Drake did the ultimate industry no no by criticizing Jay Z's lyrical content. Drake is interested in art, but he scoffs at how trendy art shout-outs have become in rap. "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references!" he says. "I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny." Drake had to know this wasn't going to come off right especially during a time that his and Jay's budding friendship was starting to get press.  Being the lyrical genius that he is Jay responded to the hidden diss in a new song (the track has disappeared from the 'net) with Jay Electronica . “Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk/ Silly me rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought.”  Short and simple. Jay's corny is ...

Rappers Respond To Kendrick Lamar's "Control" Verse

Image
By now you all have heard Kendrick Lamar 's verse on Big Sean 's seven minute track " Control " or heard about it, hell it was featured on my local news this morning. I hear u loud and clear my nigga... @kendricklamar — PUSHA T (@PUSHA_T) August 13, 2013 "I'm usually homeboys with the same n----- I'm rhymin' with/But this is hip-hop and them n----- should know what time it is/And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale/Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake/Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller/I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you n-----." Kendrick stole the show (song). Anywho, the track has ruffled quite a few feathers in hip hop with artists not featured in Lamar's rhyme like B.o .B , Joell Ortiz ,  Fred the Godson , and Lupe Fiasco issuing comebacks within 24 hours of the song's debut on Monday. It's obvious this guy was spreading friendly fire among his counterparts. What's...

Jay Z Disses Lil Wayne On New Track

Image
Jay Z and Lil Wayne have both shot subliminal disses one another's way in recent years with Jay Z keeping the tradition going on his Magna Carta Holy Grail album. Back in 2011 Wayne dissed not only Jay but Beyonce (kinda) as well on his " It's Good " track insinuating that he would kidnap Beyonce. “I got your baby money / Kidnap your bitch, get that how much you love your lady money.” Many believed Wayne's diss was in reply to Jay's "baby money" reference on his and Kanye West 's " H.A.M. " “I’m like, ‘Really, half-a-billi?’ / Nigga, really, you got baby money / Keep it real with niggas, niggas ain’t got my lady money" Check out Jay's reply on his new track "La Familia". “Wanna kidnap wifey / Good luck with that bruh / You must gonna hide your whole family / What you think we wearing black for / Ready for that war / Ready for that war ready / You ain’t ready, yo, you radio.”  Se...

NEW MUSIC: Lord Jamar "Lift Up Your Skirt (Kanye Diss)"

Image
For those of you like myself who have no idea who Lord Jamar  is, he is one part of rap group Brand Nubian ("Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down"). Now that we've gotten the introductions out of the way let's get into the Lord's new Kanye West diss record. This simply seems homophobic to me and an ill attempt at trying to make oneself relevant again. I mean check out the lyrics... ”Somebody mad at my hash tag/ Black man lookin’ half a f*g/With a blazer and vest, I’m just amazed at the mess/Pioneer of this queer sh*t is Kanye West/He introduced the skinny jeans to the rap scene/Then he wore a f***ing skirt on the video screen/Then he wore it again at a memorial/I can’t pretend that this s**t ain’t deplorable/I bet this n***a thinkin’ he lookingadorable/Your music’s good but your ego is horrible.” Because one is fashionable beyond  your taste that makes them a "queer"? Yeah, ok. Don't hold your breathe brother looking for a response.  so...

NEW MUSIC: JoJo "Young" Simmons "Holy Water" ( A Juelz Santana Diss)

Image
Can someone please interrupt Rev Run's bubble bath and tell him his son is playing with God's favor! What in the world is really going on when JoJo Simmons tries to diss J uelz Santana ? JoJo? Team Blackout JoJo? Diggy's lil big bruvah? First Diggy went at J. Cole for allegedly saying he slept with one of his sisters and now the family's failed rapper wants to come for Juelz. Now what could this all be about? Well, it seems like JoJo is taking his anger of Diggy succeeded further than he in the hip hop arena out on Juelz because of Juelz's track "Soft". Take a listen to what supposedly is the reason I am now blogging about  freakin' JoJo Simmons. Does the boy have a right to be mad and waste studio time because of:  " Far as that dough goes I'm Russell Simmons, you JoJo"? Now let's listen to Young ...no, I'm not calling him that! JoJo Simmons! Are we going to accept this diss from Son Son ? I honestly think th...
