I've been meaning to post about First Lady Michelle Obama's moment of realness at President Obama's inaugural luncheon for days now but it simply missed my fingers. Anywho, I simply died inside when Michelle Obama gave House Speaker John Boehner (you know, the guy that talked shit about the President) the eye roll from hell. He didn't tap her like that tho?!! Anywho, it's being speculated by expert mouth readers (lol) that Boehner asked Mr. Obama if he'd had a chance to smoke a cigarette yet and THEN tapped Mrs. Obama jokingly stating that "somebody" wouldn't let him have one. Now he knows Mrs. Obama is all about healthy living and probably hates him more than Mr. Obama smoking but bless his poor heart because he was probably trying to break the ice in the most uncomfortable setting in his life. This has to be the most hilarious thing I've seen thus far in 2013.

Check out LaLa Anthony's glamm'd up style while in DC for Inaugural events. I was totally feeling this black and gold Lillie Rubbin number LaLa wore to The Hip Hop Inagural Ball, where LaLa hosted with Terrence Jenkins, when I saw it on Instagram but I am now on the fence because it looks only GREAT in certain lighting. Now this Zuhair Murad gown that LaLa wore to the President's Inaugural ball was perfection and if LaLa was wearing her wedding ring the dress would've looked even better...

Jennifer Lopez would know all about lip-synching...she should hush! It was NOT because of a lack of rehearsal time!! People are we really going to play this dumb? Even Aretha Franklin thinks the whole issue is comical. “I thought it was funny because the weather down there was about 46 or 44 degrees and for most singers that is just not good singing weather...” she told ABC News. “When I heard that I just really cracked up. I thought it was really funny, but she did a beautiful job with the pre-record.” I'm not posting anything about this again unless it involves Beyonce saying "fuck your life!".

Was I the only one wondering where Tha Motha Tina Knowles was situated during the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony? Well maybe I was because I'm nose e like that and know as a mother you don't miss your baby sangin' for the President. But anywho, Beyonce updated her Tumblr with photos from the historic event and low and behold Tina Knowles was there dressed in all black like the omen. Bey has uploaded a bunch of Inaugural related photos but my favs have to be Beyonce preparing to sing the National Anthem and few others  below. Now why is everybody so mad that Beyonce lip-synched the National Anthem when this is common practice? This isn't news people! We know she can sing, what's the big deal? Because Kelly Clarkson took the chance of singing 'My County, Tis Of Thee' live? I know what it is, it's because it was Beyonce and she was singing at President Obama's inaugural celebration. Y'all know that's what it is, right? ...

Because I didn't feel like posting all the performances separately, and felt that most weren't deserving of a post, this video seemed perfect for a 'FYI' post. Alicia Keys knows she deserves an ass whipping for not only singing 'Girl On Fire' but for remixing President Obama into that mess of a song as well. Now she better prerecord her Super Bowl performance.

While some people are a little mad that Beyonce lip-synched her performance yesterday at the Presidential Inauguration Kelly Clarkson did not follow suit while performing "My County, Tis Of Thee". Check out a couple photos of Kelly including one with the singer being photobombed by former President Bill Clinton and one that she posted to her Twitter account with Beyonce. The best part of the Inaugural parade, other than a too hype Vice President Biden being over joyed to be out of his limo, was seeing the first family sitting in the reviewing stands like any other normal family at an event. The girls were taking pics, dancing, and getting the side eye from their mom while President Obama was ignoring his possibly drunk colleague all while appearing to not give two shits that cameras were on them or better yet as if they were acting to be on their best practiced behavior. I would love to know where or to who the pictures Malia and Sasha Obama was taking were going to? They must have some very trustworthy friends because I know for a fact if I was friends with them I'd at least tell me my mom, who would then tell my aunts who would then tell about 15 other people and somewhere down this line a friend of a friend is calling TMZ. Anywho, this was a proud day in black America!

Forget the drummer, can we give Jay some?! An applause is deserved to a guy from Marcy projects that has told us on more than one occasion that he comes from the bottom then went from being a hustler to NOW being able to be called (not self-proclaimed) a rap mogul/businessman. This guy from Marcy projects in Brooklyn NY not only is the part owner of the Brooklyn Nets who just built an arena he can now see his roots Marcy Projects from but he attended his SECOND Inaugural swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol alongside his beautiful multi-talented wife Beyonce Knowles who sang the 'National Anthem' for the first black President. Again, can we give Jay recognition here. Anywho, my dude Sean Carter is wearing Tom Ford paired with a Hermes scarf...we see you Jay, very distinguished even in the fur,  kudos to Ms. June Ambrose. Our First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama didn't disappoint for a second time during her husband, P resident Barack Obama's Inaugural festivities. Let's start things off right with the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony yesterday. Mrs. Obama was spotted headed to church in in an awesome Thom Browne jacquard swing coat and silver heels but due to the ignorantly insane weather yesterday here in DC Mrs. Obama had to trade in her bare legs for knee boots but added a little bling sash and deep violet leather gloves from J. Crew . source After the ceremony and parade Mrs. Obama chose a vibrant red Jason Wu gown to the Inaugural Ball. Which trend of Mrs. Obama do you think will immolated the most? 1. The bangs 2. The swing coat 3.. Being classy This woman is a fashion designer's DREAM!  A regal trendsetter...it don't get any better.
