SPLITSVILLE: Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Separate

After 10 years of marriage Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are calling it quits. Gwyneth shared the news of the "conscious uncoupling" on her website Goop.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” read a joint statement on Paltrow’s insufferably pretentious lifestyle blog. “We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”

Word on the street is, Chris and Gwyn haven't been an item for some time now and were parading around like a married couple to save face  for the sake of their family.

Honestly, I could see perfectionist Gwyneth fronting as if she were married just for appearances and this news having been shared by Gwyneth on her website was only done PROBABLY because someone has a new boyfriend/girlfriend who is tired of living in someone else's shadow. Maybe...maybe, not...but PROBABLY true.
