BET's Statement
If you were like me you wondered "why in the hell was Justin Bieber nominated for a BET award?" when you heard the nominations a couple days ago. Wellllll, now Stephen Hill (the HNIC at BET) has issued a statement telling "us" why.
Bieber has crossed the color boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years.

Was there really a need for an explanation? Even though most folks get it, we still questioned it and issuing a statement makes it a little more iffy on BET's part. Who does that?
