VH1 Cuts Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson just can't win. He was arrested for domestic violence, he was released from the Miami Dolphins without pay, he may be headed for Divorceville and now his only other source of income, VH1, has pulled the cord on his reality show, Ev and Ocho, that was set to premiere next month with his Evelyn Lozada.

Something about this entire situation screams shady as if something is being left out. Chad has been released from his lucrative gigs without even issuing a statement. I'm not taking sides here nor condoning violence against women but Chad is basically being reprimanded as if he has already been found guilty.

The ironic thing about this is Chad told cameras while filming  for HBO's Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The Miami Dolphins that “ I promise I’m gonna get arrested while we’re off.”

Here's the statement  VH1 issued:

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”
