A Kardashian Style Baby Shower For Kim Kardashian...and Kanye West.
Yesterday in sunny California Kim Kardashian gathered with friends and family for a brunch baby shower hosted by her sisters Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Kourtney Kardashian along with mother Kris Jenner and family friend Shelli Azoff.
The Kardashian sisters donned white while mother Kris Jenner added some color to her ensemble.
The guest on hand feasted on traditional a traditional brunch menu with waffles, eggs, bacon and pastries among other items. Luckily younger sister Kendall Jenner posted a pic via Twitter of her plate.
Spotted at the shower brunch were many familiar faces as Kim seems to only befriend the rich and the famous along with some friends who were surprisingly absent. Take a look at some sneaky photos captured at the Beverly Hills venue which is home to Kanye West's former super manager Irving Azoff and Shelli Azoff to see who was there and guess who wasn't.
Some times I find myself baffled by the people who chose to befriend Kim. I think we've gotten so caught up with being duped by this family somewhere in my mind I'm like "why they hell would they be friends with them?". But I know what I think about these people could be mere speculation and then there's the potential that their celebs friends are just as phony as them and using this event to be seen.
Anywho, speaking of being seen, I didn't see Kim's self proclaimed BFFs like La La Anthony, Ciara, Loren Ridinger, Serena Williams...shall I go on? What I did see surprisingly were gifts that we were told Kim and Kanye West didn't want. They couple were said to have rathered donations go to a Chicago children's hospital over gifts but guests brought them anyway. I saw a Hermes box.
And speaking of seen again, Kanye was reportedly spotted sneaking in to the shower in one of his infamous hoodies while covering his face. How dreadful.
In my opinion, Kanye has received some backlash from this relationship. Why now is he not trying to be photographed? What did the paps do to him? He did however attend Kourtney's baby shower last year where he was seen and heard on camera for the family's E! reality show.
Who knows! But what I do know is the couple and Kris Jenner are expecting a girl. This must have been a whirl for Kris Jenner who is probably already in the process of shelving her older daughters for her younger Jenner girls who will be too old by the time Kimye's baby is of age.
We shall see. How calculated was the date of this shower which happens to be the same day as the season premiere of season 8 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where Kim announces the baby's gender...
I have a feeling another shower is in the making...and due to limited photos of Kim yesterday you can probably expect a full $pread in one of your fav tabloid mag$.
