Ciara Partners With Groupon To Sell Newly Released Album
In the wake of lackluster album sales (59k in it's first week) for her recently released self titled fifth studio album Ciara and her team has opted to sell the album as a bundle 2 CD deal on the discount site Groupon.
I'm not here to bash Ciara or anything because it's times like these that people self cope or destruct but where does she go from here now? Ciara is too seasoned as an artist to be selling her albums on Groupon only after two weeks of it's release.
With hits like "Body Party" playing every 5 minutes on local radio stations across the country and the mere fact that this woman is a Grammy award winner should have been decision worthy enough for her handlers to pass up this deal and take another route.
Just get a reality show...

I think the timing and subject (Ciara) is all wrong for this. Who knows if this could become a lucrative partnership in the future or not. Ciara's career has been a struggle for some time now, although the singer has no problems garnering press, it's her professional life mixed with personal that has her career spiraling out of control.
