Jay Z and Justin Timberlake To Boycott GRAMMYs??

According to Hits Daily Double the whispers are true...

With the Grammys under two weeks away, NARAS head Neil Portnow, executive producer Ken Ehrlich andCBS EVP Specials, Music & Live Events Jack Sussman are doing everything possible to put together a great show. But absent from the talent lineup as of now are Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, two of music’s biggest stars, who were snubbed in the major categories, and whose presence on the telecast is crucial in the team’s concerted effort to recover from last year’s ratings slump. CBS is in year two of a 10-year deal to televise the Grammys, shelling out a reported $60m annually for the rights—and the show’s ratings derive directly from the wattage of its combined star power. According to Timberlake insiders, JT has turned down the invitation to perform and isn’t likely to change his mind.

First of all, Justin Timberlake has been gone from the music scene for yearssssssssssssssssss he better counting his lucky stars that he had such a welcoming AND successful comeback. As far as Jay Z goes I highly doubt this is true. Last week news leaked that he and Beyonce would open this Sunday's GRAMMYs which leads me to believe this little story is planted simply for the shock value and the surprise element that was lost last week.

DO YOU REALLY THINK BEYONCE, WHO HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY EVERY TIME IN THE LAST 14 YEARS, WITH THE SUCCESS OF HER SURPRISE ALBUM WON'T STOP BY THE GRAMMYS FOR A CHANCE TO SHINNNNNNNNNNNE WITH HER NINE TIME NOMINATED HUSBAND...yeahhhhh ok.
