Netflix has conjured up a plan to help you fool your kids this holiday season. Tonight (or you could have done it days ago if you wished) you can celebrate New Year's Eve a little early with your children without them evening knowing it. Netflix has an on-demand special hosted by   King Julien of Madagascar fame    that you can stream for 3-minutes in an effort to allow your children to celebrate the ending of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. Netflix will offer parents a special kid-friendly countdown that lets children celebrate the New Year before midnight,  CNNMoney  reports. The on-demand special will be hosted by King Julien, the titular animated lemur from the new Netflix series,  All Hail King Julien  and allows parents to pretend it's midnight at any time. Hottie Sofia Vergara and her sexy short-term boyfirend Joe Manganiello are now officially an engaged couple as of this holiday season. Joe who was filming Magic Mike XXL until a recent injury proposed to Sofia during a holiday trip to Hawaii with family. And once you see the ring you'll know there was only one answer possible to Joe's big question. Although the two have yet to confirm the news some "close source" is confirming the news to media outlets like E! News, TMZ and Page Six. Sofia and Joe have been dating since July shortly after Sofia's breakup with her then fiance Nick Loeb . I've  never believed this relationship from the jump and seriously doubt the engagement will go any further than a broken off engagement. But what's a beauty like her doing without a man? Another considerately legitimate marriage in Hollywood has ended. I would say another "black marriage" but as divorce has gotten so rampant these days publicly and personally in many of our lives it obvious to see this is beyond a color/race issue. But that little known fact won't stop me from saying I do hurt a bit inside from disappointment when I see legitimate marriages fail especially after so many years. This past Sunday NeNe Leakes debuted a new wig on The Real Housewives of Atlanta that quickly became a Internet sensation. Sensation as in comical sensation. Although I have no idea who could think this look was appropriate for NeNe she did address the topic in her Bravo blog this week....filled with lots of sensational words to sensationalize the bad wig and what she has going on. With the season two premiere of BET's ' Being Mary Jane ' set to premiere early in February I'm gearing up for an abundance of all things Gabrielle Union  kicking things off with the February cover of Uptown Magazine. Over the past few weeks I've been anticipating the debut of  the 'Annie' remake in movie theatres. The movie has an awesome cast, it's family friendly and everyone loves going to the movies during the holiday. What more could you ask for? Snow? Great ratings?! Now fast forward to today, the release date of 'Annie', and the unwanted movie reviews I came across. It seems that Annie isn't getting the rave reviews as I expected but, lucky for me, most of the critically acclaimed movies I seem to hate so I'm betting I will still love this movie. But that hasn't stopped me from being nosee enough to read what was said and not liked about the film starring Oscar-nominated actress  Quvenzhané Wallis and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx . Rising star Michael B. Jordan is said to have been tapped for the starring role in ' Creed' which will be a sequel/spinoff to ' Rocky '. As some of you ' Rocky' fans know, Apollo Creed was Rocky 's nemesis at one point and Jordan is expected to play the role of Creed's grandson. Sylvester Stallone is reprising his iconic role as boxer Rocky Balboa, but “Creed” will center on Michael B. Jordan‘s character, the grandson of Rocky’s nemesis-turned-mentor Apollo Creed. This time around, Balboa will act as a trainer to the young Creed. The film will also mark a “Fruitvale Station” reunion for Jordan and director Ryan Coogler, who will helm the project.
