Netflix has conjured up a plan to help you fool your kids this holiday season. Tonight (or you could have done it days ago if you wished) you can celebrate New Year's Eve a little early with your children without them evening knowing it. Netflix has an on-demand special hosted by   King Julien of Madagascar fame    that you can stream for 3-minutes in an effort to allow your children to celebrate the ending of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. Netflix will offer parents a special kid-friendly countdown that lets children celebrate the New Year before midnight,  CNNMoney  reports. The on-demand special will be hosted by King Julien, the titular animated lemur from the new Netflix series,  All Hail King Julien  and allows parents to pretend it's midnight at any time. Hottie Sofia Vergara and her sexy short-term boyfirend Joe Manganiello are now officially an engaged couple as of this holiday season. Joe who was filming Magic Mike XXL until a recent injury proposed to Sofia during a holiday trip to Hawaii with family. Another considerately legitimate marriage in Hollywood has ended. I would say another "black marriage" but as divorce has gotten so rampant these days publicly and personally in many of our lives it obvious to see this is beyond a color/race issue. This past Sunday NeNe Leakes debuted a new wig on The Real Housewives of Atlanta that quickly became a Internet sensation. Sensation as in comical sensation. Over the past few weeks I've been anticipating the debut of  the 'Annie' remake in movie theatres. The movie has an awesome cast, it's family friendly and everyone loves going to the movies during the holiday. What more could you ask for? Snow? Great ratings?! Now fast forward to today, the release date of 'Annie', and the unwanted movie reviews I came across. It seems that Annie isn't getting the rave reviews as I expected but, lucky for me, most of the critically acclaimed movies I seem to hate so I'm betting I will still love this movie. But that hasn't stopped me from being nosee enough to read what was said and not liked about the film starring Oscar-nominated actress  Quvenzhané Wallis and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx . This is the kind of film that, in modern Hollywood, makes you feel more bad for the director than you feel anything like anger; this sort of name-recognition project -- everyone knows, loves Annie, even if they don't --

Rising star Michael B. Jordan is said to have been tapped for the starring role in ' Creed' which will be a sequel/spinoff to ' Rocky '. As some of you ' Rocky' fans know, Apollo Creed was Rocky 's nemesis at one point and Jordan is expected to play the role of Creed's grandson. Sylvester Stallone is reprising his iconic role as boxer Rocky Balboa, but “Creed” will center on Michael B. Jordan‘s character, the grandson of Rocky’s nemesis-turned-mentor Apollo Creed. This time around, Balboa will act as a trainer to the young Creed. The film will also mark a “Fruitvale Station” reunion for Jordan and director Ryan Coogler, who will helm the project. Judging from Christina Milian 's intro to her new E! reality show I will say she's not too thrilled about motherhood and blames it for the decline in her career. Basically, some ish I wish she wouldn't have said in an effort to sell a show that she's doing for a check to support herself/daughter. From producers Oprah Winfrey (Harpo) and Brad Pitt (Plan B) the highly anticipated film Selma directed by Ava DuVernay will be in limited theatres this Christmas and nationwide on January 9. When the news broke that the officer held responsible for the choke hold that took Garner's life would not be indicted, although Garner's death was ruled a homicide, social media went into a frenzy and Janelle retweeted many of the dismayed reactions. I had no idea (nothing new) that famed restaurateur B. Smith was not only battling Alzheimer's disease but she also went missing not too long (Nov 25). NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Legendary model and restaurateur B. Smith has been found safe on the West Side of Manhattan Wednesday after going missing Tuesday night, according to her husband, Dan Gasby.    Smith, 64, who revealed earlier this year that she is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, went missing in Southampton, Long Island, at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, he said. Smith had taken a Jitney bus from New York City to Sag Harbor, where the couple has a home, and got off in Southampton. It is not clear how she ended up back in Manhattan, Gasby said, but she was reunited with their daughter. Smith was found near her old apartment, the AP reported.
