Theories simply because I like to say I told you so... First and foremost, Solange will evidently take the fall for this. From the looks of arrivals at Met Gala, after seeing the elevator fight scene, I think the Carters/Solange may have had some words before hand. Judging from the video and the fact that I am human, I think it was odd that Beyonce didn't intervene. At some point celebrity goes out the window and the need to protect and/or help your family kicks in not your brand. By family I mean Solange. Jay did was he was suppose to do but who better than Beyonce to calm her sister down? Maybe this happens often, like drunk uncle often, and they knew to let her have it out and she would be fine eventually. One other theory is that Jay Z may have told Beyonce to stay back. As we should all be aware Beyonce   Solange Knowles and Beyonce threw their mother Tina Knowles a birthday soiree in New Orleans this past weekend in honor of her 60th birthday (Jan 4). The party featured many a familiar faces but there was one that stood out to me who just so happened to be Miss Tina's date. Yes that's actor Richard Lawson who Tina has been dating for time now on the low, not hiding it, until recently when claims came about that Bey didn't like him due to his religious beliefs...well he got an invite. Speaking of people Bey may not like, the Kardashian clan matriarch Kris Jenner was also in attendance and is still basking in the fact she got an invite. Solange has been doing a bit of press this week including BET's  106 & Park  and the below interview with Hot 97. During the interview Solange  chopped it up with Ebro and Rosenberg about her Nas obsession, relationship with Jay Z , her recent gig at a laundry mat and most notable her sister Beyonce 's (ironic, huh?) recent run in with a fan which almost caused her to be yanked into a crowd of her fans during a Brazil concert last weekend. Solange is reportedly taking her talents to New Orleans where she stands a chance to not have the cops called on her regularly as she did in Brooklyn. This is all news to me coming straight from Page Six ... Brooklyn fixture  Solange Knowles ,  Beyoncé ’s little sister, is moving to New Orleans. The singer played a de facto farewell gig Monday night at a laundromat on Atlantic and Third avenues, not far from her Carroll Gardens apartment. “She made a final appearance in her home borough for fans and residents before making the move with her 8-year-old son,  Julez ,” said a spy. “[She] loves the simplicity, warmth and, most importantly, [the] space she can get in the Big Easy.” We’re also told her “studio sessions at home [in Brooklyn] would result in the police being called for noise,” and that she’ll have a recording studio built at her new place in the Big Easy. Yesterday Solange didn't just take to Twitter with her frustrations over the non guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin murder case but she also took to Borough Hall in Brooklyn for a rally she helped organized. Along with Solange, who held a plaque bearing the words of the late great Malcom X ,   were hundreds of people who came in agreeance peacefully. Mathew Knowles wed his former model fiance of  a year and a half  Gena Charmaine Avery on July 30 in Houston sans daughters Beyonce and Solange Knowles . While still in newlywed bliss Mathew took the time out to dismiss any rumors that Bey and Solo missed the nuptials due to anything but work. Another "fuck it...I'm happy" celeb dressing the part... Solange performed at the Northside Festival in Brooklyn at McCarren Park over this past weekend (June16) where she put her eclectic style on display while performing. I don't know which is worse, the outfit or the dancing? I'm all for being who you are but I'm also a very visual person and I hate this look. The shoes look like masking tape but would be fire with another outfit. The outfit in question would have looked lovely with some Converse or any other shoe than the strappy heels that she is wearing but had this outfit been great it wouldn't be Solo's style. Do you Mama , and dance like no one is watching...although we are. I'm going to master this carefree walk out the house not giving a dayum attitude but I swear it will be a little more put together.

The Cannes Film Festival   is the place to be at the moment. Not missing out on any of the fun were Rev Run and Solange Knowles who were seen attending a Belvedere Party in Cannes, France where Rev hit up the DJ booth with DJ Ruckus for a little crowd hyping and participation.

Tina Knowles  with daughters Beyonce and Solange Knowles in tow have teamed up with Bread of Life, Inc. to put an end to hunger with the Miss A Meal campaign. Bread of Life, Inc., is a Houston based non-profit organization founded over 21 years ago by  Pastor Rudy and Juanita Rasmus . ABOUT BREAD OF LIFE, INC.  Founded in 1992 by Pastor Rudy and Juanita Rasmus as a mission of St. John's United Methodist Church, the Bread of Life, Inc., is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that provides solutions to the problems of homelessness, unemployment and hunger through sustaining, equipping and transforming the forgotten with compassion. Last night I posted a couple pictures from Beyonce's HBO documentary premiere as the night began but below you can check out some footage as the night progressed with The Big O(prah) acting as the head of PR over at Beyhive Productions, a little sisterly bond between Beyonce and Solange at the 'Life Is But A Dream' after party while Solo spins records and a red carpet interview with the Associated Press and the one and only Beyonce. I really wish Oprah didn't hype this documentary as she did, now people are going to pick it apart for any dull second or sneeze aired this coming Saturday. I mean, what was she suppose to say with Beyonce standing right there while also side ways promoting her interview on her OWN network? A simple "job well done' would have sufficed in my opinion. I try to keep up with Bey when she adds new photos to her Tumblr  but some times I feel like there's too many to upload so y'all need to head on over there to see them all...below are a few of my favs from Miami this weekend. Beyonce also posted a photograph to her new Instagram account while supporting her sister Solange's EP release concert. Also word on the street is Beyonce will be performing in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve in front of an intimate crowd (which means high ticket prices and not many tickets t begin with) which she is said to be receiving $4 mil for.
