Before we get into this read please let the record show that Shonda Rhimes is NOT the creator of ABC's new show How To Get Away With Murder starring Viola Davis . Now, NY Times critic Alessandra Stanley has once again stuck her foot in her mouth. The sketchy critic is the author of an article criticizing executive producer  Rhimes  for  the "angry black women" she creates on screen  coupled with a few stereotypical insults towards Ms. Davis and black women in general. This chick is nuts, all over the place and most of all in need of some attention in which she did get from Shonda via Twitter. Who's great idea was this? Word on the world wide web is ABC has tapped actress/choreographer Rosie Perez AND Nicole Wallace the former communications director for President George W. Bush to take the seats once kept warm by Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy on The View . Nicole Wallace  I'm on the fence with Rosie P simply because of her voice. Daily? For an hour? Coming to ABC this fall courtesy of Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne is a new sitcom badly titled Black-ish . After watching the preview of the show, featuring Tracee Ellis Ross  with a leading role as a mother and the wife of Anderson, I think show is just as trash as the title...BUT!! I will watch. Lawd, be a working a title!! I get it...but nah . Are they implying you lose your black card with success? Maybe it's the network that's also is the problem for me. And speaking of the network, ABC is also bringing us Fresh Off The Boat about an Asian family trying to capture the American Dream . Like , really? Are we simply trying to fill time slots for one season, ABC?

As if Liv needed any more drama added to her life... Tune in tonight at 10 pm on ABC to catch the second half of season 3 of Scandal . I know I won't be alone as I unconsciously try and tell which scenes Kerry Washington is noticeably pregnant in.

Viacom has acquired the rights to air episodes of ABC's Scandal from seasons 1 and 2 starting in the Fall on BET and will also air season 3 episodes after they've aired on ABC according to Hollywood Reporter . Under the pact, BET will begin airing seasons one and two of the  Kerry Washington  political-fixer drama this summer. Additionally, original episodes from the upcoming third season of the  Shonda Rhimes  series will air no sooner than eight days after original first-run episodes are broadcast on ABC. The deal for off-network repeats extends to additional seasons of the drama if it should continue its run (likely).   The sale comes as studios continue to enter the syndication market early ( Scandal  has produced a total of 29 episodes in its two seasons) in a bid to generate instant revenue rather than waiting for the typical 100-episode mark to explore off-network deals.
