If you are not hipped to Tracee Ellis Ross ' greatness then you're simply not HIP . Getting warmed up for @SpikeLSB! No, I'm not doing Beyoncé but she sure does get me warmed up! #blackish #LipSyncBattle #BTS A video posted by Tracee Ellis Ross (@traceeellisross) on Oct 13, 2015 at 6:42pm PDT Joining me in my fan out over Tracee is actor Michael B. Jordan (my low key boo). He was captured on Instagram showing his love for Ross in her comments section. In response to the above video Michael B. Jordan had this to say: Late last year Drake too tried his hand with Tracee...asking for her hand in marriage. #TMurda is not "knew" to this...#6God A video posted by Tracee Ellis Ross (@traceeellisross) on Dec 2, 2014 at 2:55pm PST Who do you think Tracee would pick? Nothing is impossible if Sanaa Lathan is dating French Montana . Although I think she's doing him a favor on behalf of her Dad, Stan Lath...

Photographed by Caitlin Cronenberg. The art themed issue of W magazine teamed up with Drake who they deem their "muse" for the issue. Recently, Drake has become involved with the art world: He was commissioned by  Sotheby’s , in New York, to create a soundtrack for an exhibition and private sale of works by important African-American artists, including  Theaster Gates ,  Wangechi Mutu , David Hammons , and  Jean-Michel Basquiat , at the auction house. “The art at Sotheby’s moved me like a song would,” Drake said. “I saw music in those paintings. I now try to treat each single as a piece of art. I try to attach the sound that I’m making to an image in my mind.” Lynn Hirschberg:  What was it like being a muse for this project for  W? Drake:  It’s the first time I’ve ever been a “muse,” but I’m used to collaborating. Curiosity is the best part of working with any kind of artist. You want to see how somebody else’s process works. It’s like l...

While running off fumes from an awesome  ACL Fest  performance, another historic moment, Drake decided to bless his cyber followers with a shirtless pic earlier this week. The rapper was the fourth of only three rappers ( Eminem ,  Kanye   West  and  OutKast ) in the festival’s 12-years to headline the show which typically does not allow rapper s to do so. It was while basking in the success of his show that Drake to Instagram to not only announce a video for his Billboard hit ‘ Hotline Bling ‘ was in the works but also that he is still very much hitting the gym working out.   Now although today is Wednesday and to you social media heads that’s #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesdays) I’m going to kick off #TBT (Throw Back Thursdays) a few shirtless pics of   Champagne Pap i showing his progress…the boy just can’t seem to lose. And maybe you too can “win’ tomorrow in your #TBT post. Drake definitely started from the bottom…are you motivat...

If you're familiar with Twitter than you know yesterday's MTV VMA  nominations caused a lot of buTt hurt feelings to a few artists most notably Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift . Yes, Nicki threw out a subliminal diss and Tay Tay clapped back. Hey guys  @MTV  thank you for my nominations. 😘😘😘 Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or...? — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ)  July 21, 2015 If I was a different "kind" of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. 😊😊😊 — NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) July 21, 2015 @NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.. — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) July 21, 2015 Staying true to the game, Meek Mill followed his girlfriend and popped off on fellow rapper Drake insinuating my fav doesn't write his own lyrics. Yes, he went there. Stop comparing d...

Coachella ALWAYS makes for great newsworthy posts but I'd never think a mature pop star would attack a rap artist on stage as I witnessed  Madonna do to  Drake . Hold your lunch!! That mouth to mouth action must have tasted like Geritol. I've never seen Drake turn down his attention in the manner. He was flailing like a fish outta water or better yet like he was being molested by a dolphin!! Who's THAT girl ? And when did Madonna become so thirsty? I bet Drizzy was in on this (a la JT style). He did kinda start it...

Happy birthday, Aubrey!! You're the best!!

Rapper Tyga has been distancing himself lately from not only his family and common sense but his label and label mates as well. Tyga has recently taken a break from his relationship with his son's mother Blac Chyna (his words not mine)   and although we see him out with an underage Kylie Jenner he is not dating her (his words not mine) but I don't buy it. The reason I'm even talking about Tyga now is because he's wishing to reveal NOW that he doesn't get along with  Drake and Nicki Minaj as well as he "tend" to distance himself from Young Money. Check out what Tyga had to say about his label and label mates in his Vibe cover interview. If y'all want to read his Kanye West influenced full interview go right ahead and waste about 4 minutes of your life that you'll never get back. Is Young Money a part of the creative process on this album? Nah. I tend to distance myself from them. Are you trying to break out on your own? Yeah, I’m...

I wish Nicki would stop teasing Drake 's thirsty ass...but I must admit it's entertaining to watch and Nicki's ass as well. I think I'm officially a Nicki Minaj fan...yasssssss!!

Sooo my fav Drake hosted the 2014 ESPY Awards last night on ESPN. All the greats in sports and media were in attendance not including a few usual suspects that did not attend. Aywho, the show was funny at times, trying too hard at times and scripted at times but overall I loved the show. I had the opportunity to laugh and cry in one setting. Let's check out some notable moments from last night featuring Drake including his thirst for Skylar Diggins . Drake as Manny Pacquiao  Finally!! Now can the stalking stop?

Well, you don't say?! In a recent interview with VLAD TV Common stated the obvious we were thinking for a long time now. That he and Drake 's beef, that Common initiated, was in part due to his break up with Serena Williams . “For me, I think it was an emotional thing,” he expressed. “Meaning, I was feeling like, at that time I think it was the Drake/Serena situation. I didn’t know what was going on with that. I ain’t know if he was throwing things, shots at me. Like you know, this is my ex and you know we’re kinda going our separate ways.”    “Unfortunately the war might have been over a girl, even though at the time I never said that. But it wasn’t totally that, it was more or less, ‘Do you respect me? Because I actually like you as an artist.’”   “Now it’s like nothing but love,” Common continued. “I ain’t on that.”   “The reason we can be at peace now is because we had a face to face talk. You know, this where I am with it. We had a good conver...

In swoops Kanye West to save the day. Drake  was scheduled to headline the Wireless Festival in both Birmingham and London until now. The festival website has confirmed that Drake will not appear at this year's festival. Drake confirmed the news of his illness which was also placed on the festival's website. LONDON THURSDAY 3rd JULY  - Drake has regrettably announced that he will be unable to appear as headliner at Wireless Festival in both London and Birmingham this weekend. He passes the following message to his fans:   "To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won't be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend. I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can't wait to come ...

I have an obsession with all things beautifully pleasing to the eye...I am NOW a fan Ms. Minaj. I may have to buy Nicki's new shit...sounds like she's ready to go full on hip hop. Source Pics: Instagram

With the help of Jimmy Kimmel Drake was able to go undercover on the streets of Hollywood to ask innocent strangers what they thought of the rapper. I love me some Drizzy ...I would have punched one of them if I were him.

Grammy award winner Drake and college quarterback/NFL hopeful Johnny Manziel 's bromance continues to burns as the Toronto rapper released a new track yesterday on October's Very Own Soundcloud which features a sample of Lauryn Hill 's " Doo Wop (That Thing) ". “Draft day, Johnny Manziel. Five years later how am I the man still. Draft day, A-Wiggins.” One day after it's release and Johnny's dedication track is being overshadowed by a potential Jay Z subliminal diss on the song. "I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town. You know they love to pop all that s**t when I'm not around. "But when I'm here, psst, not a sound." You see Drake and Hov are involved in a speculated rap beef right now after Jay Z recorded " We Made It " (which quickly got removed from the world wide web) with Jay Electronica publicly coming back at the rapper for comments he made in a Rolling Stone interview. "It's ...

Rihanna and Drake are still "not dating" but they are still being seen at the same venues at the same time...yet separately. The two were seen at Tramp nightclub in Mayfair after Drake's O2 performance. I see you Rih...

Drake tried it last month in an interview with Rolling Stone   where he was believed to have taken a cheap shot at Jay Z . In the interview Drake did the ultimate industry no no by criticizing Jay Z's lyrical content. Drake is interested in art, but he scoffs at how trendy art shout-outs have become in rap. "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references!" he says. "I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny." Drake had to know this wasn't going to come off right especially during a time that his and Jay's budding friendship was starting to get press.  Being the lyrical genius that he is Jay responded to the hidden diss in a new song (the track has disappeared from the 'net) with Jay Electronica . “Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk/ Silly me rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought.”  Short and simple. Jay's corny is ...

After wrapping up her 26th birthday festivities in Aspen Rihanna took her hot tail to Paris to take in her rumored boyfriend Drake 's concert, an after-party and even dinner with the rap superstar . Although Drake was said to be observed in the restaurant with Rihanna he managed not to get photographed while Rihanna did. I am inclined to believe Drake was there only because Rihanna is only spotted leaving restaurants alone when it's rumored to be with a male companion. PLUS she was in Paris to see Drake. BTW, I love this look on her. Anywho, as we all should know Drake has been obsessively in love with Rihanna since like forever (since he became famous). He even admitted that the two once dated before and that Rih "unintentionally" broke his heart. 'At the time it hurt, but she didn't mean to. I'll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realise what it was. I guess I thought it was more.' Source To  me ...

GRAMMY robbers and all my fav GRAMMY award winning rapper Drake made his feelings VERY clear in the new issue of   Rolling Stone   hitting stands this Friday about how he felt about Macklemore publicly advertising his apology to Kendrick Lamar after he and Ryan Lewis ' snubbed him basically at this year's GRAMMYs. "that shit was wack as fuck."   "I was like, 'You won. Why are you posting your text message? Just chill. Take your W, and if you feel you didn't deserve it, go get better — make better music,'" he tells us. "It felt cheap. It didn't feel genuine. Why do that? Why feel guilt? You think those guys would pay homage to you if they won?" Drake notes that Grammy wins don't always go to the artist who made the  best  album. "This is how the world works: He made a brand of music that appealed to more people than me, Hov, Kanye and Kendrick. Whether people wanna say it's racial, or whether it'...

Rihanna was seen over the weekend attending various pre-GRAMMY parties, most notable Clive Davis ' annual pre-GRAMMY celebration and the Roc Nation Brunch, but the Barbadian beauty was absent from the GRAMMYs were she won an award for Best Contemporary Urban Album for UnApologetic . Making her GRAMY snub even more apparent the pop star hit up Greystone Manor after the awards show with Drake ... reportedly making it their second night out in a row.

Drake hosted his first episode of Saturday Night Live this weekend (Jan 18) garnering new fans and cheers from even his biggest haters. The above clip was one of my favs because I believed it showed off how extensive Drake's acting skills were. There's no secret the show was success for Drizzy but what's next? Unlike new fans I knew Drake could act (not just that he was on Degrassi ) and it would be only a matter of time before the actor returned to his roots...but when was the biggest issue. Do we think it's time for Drake to make an appearance on the big screen? I think it will be this year...especially now after the SNL buzz.
