Nosee Rosee

This lovely track by Miguel will be featured on (my new fav) Lena Dunham 's HBO show Girls  soundtrack, Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do..., hitting stores February 11. "Can we just call him and see if he'll do something?" is the  question Lena Dunham had  about  Miguel   as she was putting together the music for the latest season of her HBO show,  "Girls" . He said yes, and now the song—a slow, distortion-heavy number called "Simplethings"—is here.  Source

Are we feeling this new track? I'm not moved but it isn't horrible...

Add another cover to The Great Gatsby soundtrack. Ironically the Jay Z produced soundtrack features a cover of Amy Winehouse's ' Back To Black ' performed by Beyonce and Andre 3000 as well as a cover of Beyonce's ' Crazy In Love'    performed by Emeli Sande. Check out Emeli's cover. Yay or Nay? The cover is very fitting for the movie but it's nothing I'll be blasting for my listening pleasure.

As some of you may know Jay Z will produce the score for The Great Gatsby taken from F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. The movie will star Leonardo DiCaprio and who but who would you expect Jay to reach out first to for music but his wife Beyonce . Not only did Jay snag Bey for the job but the forever missing in action and greatly talented Andre 3000 is also lending his talents alongside Beyonce. Beyonce and Andre are expected to cover  Amy Winehouse's ' Back To Black '. Also expected on the soundtrack is Jay himself. The Great Gatsby hits theaters May 10. Check out the trailer below which features Jay Z and Kanye West's Grammy award winning track ' No Church In The Wild '.
