Nosee Rosee

This lovely track by Miguel will be featured on (my new fav) Lena Dunham 's HBO show Girls  soundtrack, Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do..., hitting stores February 11. "Can we just call him and see if he'll do something?" is the  question Lena Dunham had  about  Miguel   as she was putting together the music for the latest season of her HBO show,  "Girls" . He said yes, and now the song—a slow, distortion-heavy number called "Simplethings"—is here.  Source

Check out Beyonce expressing her need to grow with her music as well as details of writing with Justin Timberlake and Miguel. Does Beyonce do anything without it being recorded? Kinda genius, yet invasive... Unfortunately this is the last installment of Beyonce's latest documentary but lucky for us I'm sure she'll be around a little while longer with more to celebrate and highlight. Her latest album is officially platinum and has been atop the Billboard charts for three straight weeks..go Bey!!t

J. Cole  performed his new single " Crooked Smile " live for the first time ever with TLC who assisted on the song's hook at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend. I wish the ladies of TLC also appeared in the song's emotional video. Anywho, J. Cole also brought out Miguel to assist with their " Power Trip " collabo.

I love this song...yet not as much before radio stations started playing it out. Enjoy your day loves!!

Kanye West is no stranger to fashion as well as Solange Knowles who were both spotted this weekend front row during New York Fashion Week attending Alexander Wang's fashion show. Also in attendance were Kerry Washington , Terry Richardson ,  Courtney Love and Miguel who sat front row next to Kanye West. I wonder if Kanye and Miguel discussed a possible collabo?

Miguel jumped on his Twitter yesterday (May 27) to post some very bold tweets which involved ones right to think and say just about anything they want as well as a very bold tweet about black people being the most judgmental people EVAH. It looks like the fan wasn't the only one hurt in the Miguel crash landing at the Billboard Awards... Im proud of my heritage but honestly, black people are the most judgmental people in the world. Shits sad man. — Miguel (@MiguelUnlimited) May 27, 2013 It's no secret that Miguel is bi-racial but what's with the above tweet? The most judgmental? we've been conditioned, pre-programmed to hate ourselves — Miguel (@MiguelUnlimited) May 27, 2013 We shit? Who is he talking about? Is this his lame attempt to channel his inner Kanye West ? that's why I appreciate those who choose to think and act for themselves regardless of ethnicity or culture — Miguel (@MiguelUnlimited) May 27, 2013 The below tweet screams...

For those of you still wondering how that fan in the pit at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards who got a face full of Miguel was doing we finally don't have to wonder anymore...she's okay. Immediately after the performance Miguel met up with an injured Khyati who was just doing just fine with a little sore elbow. I bet Miguel really wanted to jump for joy when he realized she was okay. BTW, this guy interviewing is a jackass.

A beautiful video now accompanies Mariah Carey and Miguel's new collaboration " Beautiful " that was also just released days ago . A barn, gaudy chandeliers and a vintage red Porsche would only be fitting for a Mariah Carey video. Is it me, or does this video remind you of Mariah's Music Box days?

After a weak tease Mariah Carey and Miguel are finally ready to release their new co-written single " Beautiful " which will be released on Mariah's new album out some time this summer. The visuals to " Beautiful " will debut on American Idol this coming Wednesday. Has Idol become a platform for their judges' personal promotions ?

Mariah Carey has teamed up with R&B it boy Miguel for her new single Beautiful scheduled for release on May 6. Although I've given you the gist of the details already check out Mariah being sexy and mysterious in her  promotional tease video. When did the music business get so advanced that a video was needed to spread the word before a song comes out? Just play that shit on the radio and give me the visuals to a video, Mrs. Cannon! Word on the street is, the video for this collabo has been shot. No word on whether or not the images seen in this teaser video are in fact from the actual video to the song. I only care about how this song sounds for now. This better be a ballad, the fan in me can't take anymore new Mariah.

Are Miguel and Kendrick Lamar joined at the hip now? The awesome duo is featured on Vibe magazine's 2013 'Big List' cover and now they've teamed up for the remix of 'How Many Drinks?' including the below visuals to the song.

Check out a narrated behind the scenes glimpse at Miguel's live performance visuals for "How Many Drinks?" Miguel also appeared on The Breakfast Club yesterday (April 17).

This past Saturday (April 13) Miguel had the honor of performing not only once but twice on Saturday Night Live . Check out his performances of ' Adorn ' and ' How Many Drinks' below .

What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken artistically? One that went over surprisingly well and one that might’ve gone over people’s heads? MIGUEL :  Shit, well this whole album—overall it doesn't sound like any other R&B album that's been put out in the past decade. The only album I would say sounds as alternative would be  A Beautiful World  by Robin Thicke, and that was like 2003. Since then, I haven't heard a commercial album sound as alternative as this one. Including those psychedelic influences for R&B was a huge risk. I honestly was nervous to put it out. I remember having a conversation with Mark, my A&R, like, "Man, I don't know if they're gonna get this shit. It may be bad." And he was like, "I love the album." And I love it, too; I'll be proud of it when I'm 80, because I know what I was going through when I was writing, producing and creating it. It's really cool to get attention from outlets that never re...

Happy Monday!! Enjoy your day loves!!!
