Are Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada back together? Well if you read into some tweets exchanged yesterday (Dec. 22) on Twitter between Chad and Cheryl Minton one could believe so... I swear TMZ has more pull than Naomi Campbell's edges. This is the first time Evelyn Lozada has been heard since the night of her alleged physical assault by her husband Chad Johnson as well as the first time we've seen Evelyn's forehead since the infamous headbutt. I'm guessing Evelyn is in NYC gearing up for her upcoming interview with GMA .

I guess Oprah was all booked up with her Next Chapter interviews so Evelyn Lozada opted to give Good Morning America exclusive rights to her breaking silence. Per TMZ Evelyn will sit down with Amy Robach for an interview later this week. Evelyn agreed to sit down with Robin on " Good Morning America " to discuss the Aug. 11 domestic violence incident -- because she feels Roberts has tremendous integrity as a reporter. The interview was set for this week, but hit a snag when Lozada asked Robin to tape the segment at her hotel ... since Evelyn wanted a private setting for such a serious conversation. We're told Roberts couldn't make that happen because she would have to miss a treatment session for her blood disorder ... myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). During an interview with the  Miami New Times Warren Sapp unleashed his opinion on what really went down the night of the alleged headbutt assault on Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson's football career. Do you think the Dolphins are worse off without Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson? I was rooting for him. When Chad had that first press conference on Hard Knocks, I thought to myself, "This isn't good." The coaches came to him and let him know he can't do this, he represents the organization, etc. I have a sense of humor, but they should have come to him and said, " I saw the press conference. If you do it again, you're gone." He didn't know if this was his first strike, second strike, what it was. They were setting him up. There were so many potholes; he didn't know where to step. Thanks to the sensation of reality television we are able to see the Miami Dolphins head coach, Joe Philbin, release Chad Johnson from the team after his arrest over the weekend. The Dolphins are featured this season on HBO's Hard Knocks which follows NFL teams during their training camp for the upcoming football season. This show is not recorded...it is very current. Current enough to catch an obviously emotionally drained Chad Johnson being let go from his team on the second episode last night. Last night's episode was only the second episode but it's weird to see Chad in this predicament verses how he was on the show just last week which featured an appearance by Evelyn Although Coach Philbin is adamant that it was a number of things that lead to Chad's release one has to believe the main cause was his arrest. Evelyn Lozada has finally issued a statement regarding the incident that took place this past Saturday between her and her husband, Chad Johnson. Since the incident nothing has been heard from either of the two only a statement issued from Evelyn to TMZ regarding the death of her brother-in-law. Evelyn decided to break her silence with the below statement. “It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday," the reality star wrote in an email via her publicist. "I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.
