Lee Daniels director behind Precious and The Butler may have another hit in his hands venturing into network television for the first time. Daniel's new show Empire which will air in early 2015 on Fox has acquired the rights to Naomi Campbell 's acting capabilities. Campbell will star alongside Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard  on the hip hop drama with what is being dubbed a reoccurring role. The show will also feature the musical talents of Timbaland as well. The family drama is set in the world of a hip-hop empire and stars  Taraji P. Henson  as Cookie Lyon, the ex-wife of Lucious Lyon ( Terrence Howard ), the head of a record label at the center of the series.    Campbell will portray Camilla, an alluring woman involved in a steamy affair with the much-younger Hakeem (newcomer  Bryshere   Gray ), the potential heir to Lucious' throne. Tasha exercises considerable influence over Hakeem. With such star studded talent starring and p...

JHud is taking us back to her old stomping grounds in this new sassy track. Check out the M.I.L.F as she walks it out through Chicago showing off her new look accented by her curves of course. I was told this Timbaland produced track featured a sample of Aaliyah 's 'Are You That Somebody"...did y'all hear it?

Timbaland recently confirmed the news that he is once again working with Jodeci after a 19-year hiatus on the Hang w/ app. Where will they be working from? The studio in rehab? Who's paying for this? What will they sing about? Does K-Ci and JoJo  know about this? They're not even sexy nor popular enough for people to override their non sexiness and still support them... Did Timbo use up all of his sensual ballads with minimal electronic beats from Space on Diary of A Mad Band ? Y'all I have so many questions but I really do want some more good Jodeci content...I really do, but I don't see it. Prove me wrong, Timbo !! Source

By now we should all know that Timbaland's wife, Monique Mosley , has filed for divorce and is asking for an outlandish list of desires from the producer including child support for their child and a child from a previous relationship and every form of alimony known to man. Monique Mosley  says in her divorce docs -- obtained by TMZ -- that although she and Timbaland have been married for 5 years, they've been a couple for twice that time.  In addition to their 5-year-old daughter, Monique has a 10-year-old from another relationship. So why, you ask, is she asking for child support for both kids?  Monique says Timbaland is the daddy by default, since he's "publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own." But that's not all.  Monique wants alimony, life insurance, private school, vacations, summer camp and other expenses.  She says she's so strapped for cash, she had to borrow money from a friend to pay her lawyer.  She wants Timbaland -- ...

Check out producer extraordinaire  Timbaland as he dishes on a new track that he and Keri Hilson collaborated on titled " Sorry . The two are dedicating the track to Beyonce and Jay Z due to minor and not so minor conflicts that have arisen between Keri and Beyonce as well as Timbaland and Jay. If this is the cheesiest, lamest  most self serving apologetic shit I've ever seen in my life I don't know what is. Case and point, Keri wanted some shine and Timbaland seems as if he's kissing ass trying to stay in good graces. I see this back firing on Keri more than anything. It's a nice gesture though...would have been an even nicer gesture had it been done privately or not at all. Source

Still high stepping on the top of the charts with his current No. 1 single " Blurred Lines " Robin Thicke is not only gearing up for the release of his album he's releasing new music as well. Jay Z was flooded with well wishes and camaraderie at the listening party of his new twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail officially releasing tomorrow late last week (July 3). Jay partied with his wife Beyonce , album producers like Timbaland ,and many of his friends in hip hop and the industry in Brooklyn just hours before the release of the album to 1 million lucky fans via Samsung who also hosted the album listening party. Check out some familiar faces that came out to support Hov. As always Adrienne Bailon made it her business to attend yet another Jay Z event. Girlfriend looks amazing... But not disappointing as usual was Mrs. Carter who looked to have been celebrating with her hubby on the dance floor.

With the release of  Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail album nearing we are now presented yet another Samsung teaser of the rapper and legendary producer Timbaland in the studio going over music while throwing out ideas. This faux promotion is killing me and it's going to be even more bothersome when other rappers try to emulate what Jay and Kanye West are doing with this no promotion campaign. Either way you sell it, it's still PROMOTING! I'm hear for all of it BTW. I want to share something cute with y'all. While doing a little research I noticed a picture of Jay's stylist   June Ambrose's daughter Summer steaming a sweatshirt. June is training her early... Source

Still staying in the lane as your favorite rapper's favorite rapper Jay Z released a three minute video last night during half time of game 5 of the NBA Finals giving fans a glimpse into the making of his new 12th studio  album Magna Carta Holy Grail featuring some of Jay's go to producers. What this means is, Samsung Galaxy Smartphone users will have first dibs at the new album through an app they can download on June 24 which allows the first 1 million people to download the album for FREE on July 4 at 12:01 am 72 hours before the actual release date. I guess this is a part of the Samsung deal  Page Six leaked  2 weeks ago. Not only is this man doing things that you've never seen done before but he's a sucess at whatever he touches. I was skeptical about this deal but it looks to be working in his favor. Who you know can announce an album to be released in less than 30 days with no new music all during NBA Finals... Him , Jay Hova ! What's with all ...

We asked and now we recieve new Beyonce music. " Grown Woman " was produced by Timbaland. See, it only took a few rumors to piss off Bey to shut us the f**k up about what is or isn't growing inside of her to get a FULL dose of new material. " I can do whatevvvvvvvah I wont !" - BKC I see Bey is going another route with her music and sound hence all the new music we've heard thus far but does this mean a new Beyonce as well? She's claiming she's a grown woman like it's something brand new to her, will we see a new Beyonce? Maybe a change of the hair, ditching the leotards or something? Hell I'm cool with the way Bey looks but her signature style has been so badly copied that it's time for her to inspire and start a new trend. Did I say how much I liek the tibal sound toward the end of this track?

Per Jay Z's site Life + Times Timbaland can now call Roc Nation his home/family. "Roc Nation welcomes TIMBALAND to the family." Looks like all has been forgiven... Get More: Music News

It's been a whopping six years since Justin Timberlake graced our ears with new music but luckily all that changed last night (Jan 13) when JT released Suit&Tie featuring Jay Z . Justin has once again teamed up with his music BFF producer Timbaland , who also produced JT's last four time platinum album FutureSex/LoveSounds, for this new track and potentially much of his next anticipated album. I would like to say that this video,  Carry Out   just sold me Shock Value II from Timbaland. The song alone proves that the musical chemistry between Justin and Timbo was not just some one or two song fling, it's the real deal.  Check out the video for yourself. Be sure to watch for Justin, looking all cute, beating the beat up throughout the video.
