I would be less of fan not to make today's song a dedication to Heavy D...R.I.P. to one of the most authentic rappers to ever grace the game! Learning the news of Dwight Arrington Myers' passing immediately brought me back to my  childhood days when my mother would blast his music and dance, like most women she loved her some Heavy D, because that's just what Heavy D's music did for you. Those fond memories are the ones I will always remember when Heavy D is brought up (as well as him being Regine's boo on Living Single)...with that I have to rock one of his jams as well, kind of  a hump day pick you up!!! So grateful BET gave us an opportunity to see Heavy do what he did best one last time and he did it well!!!
