What do you give the little girl that has it all? When most people use this phrase they don't fully have any basis for it but not the Carters. No, really, what do  you give Blue Ivy Carter for her third birthday (Jan.7)? While there are no exclusive confirmed details about Blue's bday festivities but some have speculated the theme may have be Frozen from a photo posted by her mom Beyonce to Instgram . But it was a photo Solange posted to her Instagram that gave me the heart eyes. My twin, my fellow sassy pants, my dancing partner, my incredibly smart, beautiful, niece-y-poo, turns 3 today! I love her so much❤️❤️❤️ Una foto publicada por S A I N T R E C O R D S (@saintrecords) el Ene 1, 2015 a la(s) 6:25 PST How cute is it that Solange calls Blue her "twin". I for one always applauded Beyonce for allowing her child to wear her hair in it's natural state as it is when she rarely does and for the critically acclaimed wardrobe choices bu...

Word on the elite streets is that Solange Knowles and her 51-year-old beau  Alan Ferguson are planning to tie the knot tomorrow in New Orleans which is to also feature what is being dubbed a weekend celebration starting tonight. Some of you may not be that familiar with Solo's fiance Alan but he's a successful music video director having worked with acts like Katy Perry, Gym Class Heroes, 112  and John Legend. It was in 2012 he stood side by side with his future sister-in-law Beyonce at the BET Awards when they won for Director of the Year for " Party "  and " Dance For You ". As you can see this guy is no stranger to the Knowles and Carter family having even directed Jay Z 's "Who You Wit" video. Anywho, I'm hoping my congrats to the future Fergusons aren't too premature and I cannot wait to see  Miss Knowles as a bride. Hopefully she will release some pics unlike her sister...but I see just like her sister they li...

Although you know this is a very PC none of your dayum business response it's nice to know that Solange is acknowledging the elevator incident happened. Family is a centering force for Knowles—and she speaks of wanting to expand hers once the new album is finished. The day we’re talking in the park is two weeks after TMZ published a leaked elevator video of Knowles getting into an altercation with brother-in-law Jay Z the night of the Met ball at the Standard Hotel. It’s a subject she expects in conversation but one she doesn’t want to focus on. She calls the incident “that thing.” “What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” she says. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that." From the aroma of her response I gather Solo didn't feel the need to respond to the incident but had to and did so to kill all questions in the future...and by doing so in Lucky mag instead of any other ignites th...

Hannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ? Forget what Dame is saying about the fight between Jay Z and Solange . Listen to what he's saying about Jay as a whole... mmm hmmm . Did  Dame  and  his ex-wife  Rachel just move in this home?

This Solange Knowles and Jay Z elevator smack down has escalated and now just about every media outlet is mentioning designer and ex wife to Dame Dash Rachel Roy as the missing piece to the puzzle. Solange, a soul singer with a short fuse, barked at Roy — the ex-wife of Damon Dash — to keep away from her sister’s man while they partied at the Meatpacking District hotel’s Boom Boom Room.   “Rachel is a little too close to Jay Z,” a source told The News. “Solange doesn’t like it, and Beyoncé doesn’t like it.” Solange, 27, unceremoniously told the designer that “ anyone who gets close to Jay has to be warned and deal with her as a sister,” a source told Us Weekly.   Roy, no pushover herself, didn’t back down when Solange told her she was “too close” to Jay Z, a source who was close to the spat said. “Rachel is combative and a tough girl,” the source said. “She didn’t back down.” Beyoncé and Jay Z jumped in the middle of the two as they exchanged angry words. At som...

Whoopi Goldberg has never been one to mince words and everyone has an opinion about this Jay Z v Solange Knowles elevator brawl. Hmmm ...I totally understand what Whoopi is saying, and I definitely don' want it with her, but her comments are socially unacceptable and I'm going to leave it at that. If anything Jay should be applauded for not hitting Solange back although I think he was foul as hell beforehand which brought on the dispute.

Instagram I'm going to run with the current trend that has been floating around of not saying shit yet saying a lot through imagery.... mmm hmmm . See the pic now let's watch Messy Wendy once more... Wendy has me believing a lot of what she saying because she is simply saying a lot with a few key words. The mere fact that she is mentioning Rachel Roy by name and mocking her theory with the excessive use of the word " alleged " is very telling. However, the hand tatt...

I'm sure Wendy Willaims got a little moist when she heard of the news that Jay Z and Solange Knowles were sorta involved in a one-person physical altercation. Check out what the Queen of Messy had to say.

Theories simply because I like to say I told you so... First and foremost, Solange will evidently take the fall for this. From the looks of arrivals at Met Gala, after seeing the elevator fight scene, I think the Carters/Solange may have had some words before hand. Judging from the video and the fact that I am human, I think it was odd that Beyonce didn't intervene. At some point celebrity goes out the window and the need to protect and/or help your family kicks in not your brand. By family I mean Solange. Jay did was he was suppose to do but who better than Beyonce to calm her sister down? Maybe this happens often, like drunk uncle often, and they knew to let her have it out and she would be fine eventually. One other theory is that Jay Z may have told Beyonce to stay back. Who knows what sparked this altercation but  it's clear Solange was rageful. We all know how much she likes to protect Bey but my gosh this was an odd physical altercation. To me th...

Solange and her son Juelz were spotted over the weekend in Brooklyn attending a partnership party for 14 Plus Foundation which is an initiative to promote literacy in Africa among children and young adults. Solange and Juelz were two of many who have partnered with the foundation. That's right, Solo, start him out right early!! WHY 14+?   Two-thirds of the population of Africa consists of children and young adults, yet the literacy rate for Africans over the age of 14 is reported to be as low as 60%. The goal of  14+ Foundation  is to improve this figure through arts based educational projects and programs.   The “ + ” sign represents an additive effect and positive value.  While  14+  has numerous references for us - most importantly, 14+  represents our commitment to go above and beyond to positively impact children's lives to reach their full potential through education.   WE BELIEVE IN:   + Empowering chi...

Solange showed up to the Spotify Pre-GRAMMYs party last night in LA wearing this Azede Jean Pierre number where she spun records for the party. Here's my thing, the cut of the suit looks nice, actually very nice, but I would love to know the inspiration behind the creation of this dress AND Solange choosing to wear this to a event. I'm going to give Solo a pass because this is just her style and fashion is what you make it BUT if I saw her at this party, friend or not, I would stay as far away as possible...I loathe roaches. Also getting their party on with Spotify at Chateau Marmont was Solange's other sistah Kelly Rowland who looked very fresh faced.

Solange has been doing a bit of press this week including BET's  106 & Park  and the below interview with Hot 97. During the interview Solange  chopped it up with Ebro and Rosenberg about her Nas obsession, relationship with Jay Z , her recent gig at a laundry mat and most notable her sister Beyonce 's (ironic, huh?) recent run in with a fan which almost caused her to be yanked into a crowd of her fans during a Brazil concert last weekend. Check it out. Solo seems realllllly laid back...

Kanye West is no stranger to fashion as well as Solange Knowles who were both spotted this weekend front row during New York Fashion Week attending Alexander Wang's fashion show. Also in attendance were Kerry Washington , Terry Richardson ,  Courtney Love and Miguel who sat front row next to Kanye West. I wonder if Kanye and Miguel discussed a possible collabo?

Solange is reportedly taking her talents to New Orleans where she stands a chance to not have the cops called on her regularly as she did in Brooklyn. This is all news to me coming straight from Page Six ... Brooklyn fixture  Solange Knowles ,  Beyoncé ’s little sister, is moving to New Orleans. The singer played a de facto farewell gig Monday night at a laundromat on Atlantic and Third avenues, not far from her Carroll Gardens apartment. “She made a final appearance in her home borough for fans and residents before making the move with her 8-year-old son,  Julez ,” said a spy. “[She] loves the simplicity, warmth and, most importantly, [the] space she can get in the Big Easy.” We’re also told her “studio sessions at home [in Brooklyn] would result in the police being called for noise,” and that she’ll have a recording studio built at her new place in the Big Easy. Tribeca residents Beyoncé and  Jay Z  also became regular visitors to Solange’s hood at s...

Just days after canceling her European tour   The Atlantis Super Wash Center in Brooklyn hosted Solange Knowles last night for a concert sponsored by Vitaminwater and The Fader as their Uncapped event. This is soooooo Solange that it's too perfect for her to have done. Pics: Getty Images

Yesterday Solange didn't just take to Twitter with her frustrations over the non guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin murder case but she also took to Borough Hall in Brooklyn for a rally she helped organized. Along with Solange, who held a plaque bearing the words of the late great Malcom X ,   were hundreds of people who came in agreeance peacefully. Seeing & gathering with people today/tonight all for the same fight helped to restore my faith in humanity... pic.twitter.com/oid0vuBJfU — solange knowles (@solangeknowles) July 15, 2013

You can catch a glimpse of Solange Knowles in the June/July issue of Complex magazine sporting looks very parallel to her personal style including vibrant hues accompanied by big luxurious hair. “I have a mother who never took no for an answer when it came to her creative pursuits,” Solange says. “She started a hair salon in her spare bedroom and four years later had 30 employees. I have a father who was the first black student at his junior high and high school and had to do a lot to get to that point. So it’s really in my bloodline when it comes to having an idea and making it happen.” You can read the full feature article HERE .

Solange Knowles is well known as Beyonce Knowles' little sister but even better known for her original revved up  personal style. Solo, as I like to call her, can be seen regularly standing out in a room in bold prints, stripes and colors with her natural 'fro in tact owning what has become her own (no one else's) style. Check out Solange over the past couple of weeks attending Met Ball events, Coachella, The Great Gatsby movie premiere and more all while fashionably styled. One great thing about Solange is that she doesn't mind being a repeat offender. Miu Miu sandals  Fashion is all about confidence... "The only real elegance is in the mind; if you’ve got that, the rest really comes from it." —  Diana Vreeland

Looking snazzy in tangerine and lemon Solange Knowles was spotted outside of the 'Late Show With David Letterman' studios where she is scheduled to perform on tomorrow night's airing .
