Nosee Rosee

It looks as if she's channeling long hair  Halle Berry here...pretty cover tho. I'm THRILLED to share with you all that I'm on the cover of this year's March @instylemagazine! Can't wait for you guys to see it and read it! So honored. And crazy excited. A photo posted by Kerry Washington (@kerrywashington) on Feb 4, 2015 at 3:47pm PST Kerry Washington obviously posted the cover shot to her Instagram  because SHE liked it but from the comments I don't think her fans are too happy with the cover. Most notably, that she is photoshopped to dayum near paleness.  Poor Kerry, I remember when folks went bonkers over her Lucky mag cover which was awful compared to this.

Sitting pretty in the her true beauty, Kerry Washington is the cover girl for November's Allure magazine. CARTER SMITH/ALLURE 😊 Thank u for your awesome feedback on the @Allure_magazine cover! Cant wait for u 2 c & read the inside! Feels very vulnerable. Very... me. — kerry washington (@kerrywashington) October 17, 2014 Kerry's serving that morning after Olivia Pope face and we love it. Hopefully natural beauty makes a comeback before half the world begins to look like a Ken doll.

With the return of Scandal nearing later this month we've got the first look at the new Season 4 cast photo. Obviously missing this season is Columbus Short with a few new additions including the show's new time block of 9/8c. The most noteworthy addition is the attire the cast is donning. They are rather snazzy for a promo photo but if you read into it a little more I am sure the photo is speaking volumes.  hope the season opens with some red tie affair that sets the tone for the whole season...like an inauguration ball!! Scandal returns to ABC September 25 and in case you want to get couch formal for the premiere the show's line at The Limited hits stores and online next week just in time for Season 4.

I have a aging infatuation with The Limited brand as my mother use to (and still does) love the store. So much so that she would splurge on her mini me (that's me) at The Limited Too more often than she did for herself at the parent store. Anywho fast forward to today... Everyone's favorite television clean up woman, Kerry Washington by way of   Olivia Pope , has partnered not only partnered with The Limited but the show's costume designer Lyn Paolo for an exclusive line inspired by Scandal 's leading lady. "By creating a line inspired by the show, we are introducing a collection that embodies the elegance and power of the  Scandal  aesthetic for real-life gladiators and everyday fashionistas," Washington (aka Olivia Pope) said in a press release. “The collection is a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it." “We weren’t inspired by a...

If you know anything about Kerry Washington she is very private. In the below interview with The Los Angeles Times Kerry opened up a tad bit about being a mother to daughter,  Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha ,  but not too much. During the interview Twitter fans were able to ask the actress questions which consisted of motherhood and of course her role as Olivia Pope on ABC's Scandal .

As if Liv needed any more drama added to her life... Tune in tonight at 10 pm on ABC to catch the second half of season 3 of Scandal . I know I won't be alone as I unconsciously try and tell which scenes Kerry Washington is noticeably pregnant in.

An almost unnoticeably pregnant Kerry Washington was spotted on set of her ABC hit Scandal ( which comes back this Thursday ) getting a little motherly training. Kerry was seen not only holding her dog Josie but her food as well in between takes...something she managed quite fine. Kudos to the Scandal  costume designer Lyn Paolo for pulling off hiding this pregnancy. Awww Kerry's eating for two...with two food containers.

For all of you that were excited about Kerry Washington getting knocked up in real life, I bet you didn't think that would mean a shorter season or were you hoping for some kind of Olitz love child in the script? The show will now only air 18 episodes instead of the 22 planned. Kerry married her footballer hubby,  Nnamdi Asomugha,  on the low earlier this year while rumors spread quickly over the summer that she was expecting her first child with hubby. BTW, I knew this was a shotgun marriage  and really believe it now that the third season of Scandal is being effected by Kerry's pregnancy. Either way congrats on the pregnancy and the fact the Kerry will have a job when she decides to return...that is an accomplishment in itself. Source

"What did they do to her?" are the majority of the questions ... The cover doesn't look that bad but I've seen her at her worst look way better. Maybe her glam squad needs a good talking to... Do you like? Maybe this was a bad attempt at trying to capture a playful Kerry versus the refined Kerry...maybe?

“The producers of  Saturday Night Live  would like to apologize to Kerry Washington for the number of black women she will be asked to play tonight…Ms. Washington is an actress of considerable range and talent and also because ‘SNL’ does not currently have a black woman in the cast. As for the latter reason, we agree this is not an ideal situation and look forward to rectifying it in the near future…unless, of course, we fall in love with another white guy first.”  I love how SNL downplayed Kenan Thompson's comments about the lack of black female comedians on SNL since Maya Rudolph's character left.

This Saturday a preggers Kerry Washington is hosting SNL and party pooper Eminem will be performing live. Check out the two as the y promote their appearances. I'm watching (maybe recording) for three reasons: I want to see if Kerry will hide or confirm her pregnancy. I want to see a Scandal spoof. And I want to see if Eminem will do a skit and act like he enjoys life for just a moment...or two.

Well according to some close source who has spilled the beans to E! News   she is... Kerry Washington   is expecting her first child, a source confirms to E! News. The pregnancy comes four months after the actress  secretly married  San Francisco 49ers cornerback  Nnamdi   Asomugha . "She had planned to wait longer because the pregnancy is being well hidden on Scandal  with her trademark coats, but it will be pretty obvious on  Saturday Night Live this Saturday," a source explains. "So she decided to start telling people now." How awesome, but I can't wait for the "oh so she got married because she was pregnant" talk....at least she is married. Congrats, Kerry and Nnamdi!! BTW, I don't have time for Olivia Pope having a love child!! Hopefully with filming being far in advance before a season starts this shouldn't heart much.

Notice my play on words...I'm speaking Kerry's pregnancy into existence. With a dress that shimmers as bright as 24k gold I guess Kerry Washington opted against wearing her wedding ring...

Kerry Washington looked absolutely breath taking at the 65th annual Emmy Awards last night in LA. Although Kerry missed her mark at becoming the first African American to win the coveted  Best Actress in a Drama series award last night her Marchesa gown is still all the rage this morning. Now don't get me wrong the gown looked awesome on Washington, who recently secretly wed NFL baller Nnamdi Asomugha , but if she's isn't expecting this dress sure added on some weight in her stomach area. One awesome moment from last night was when Kerry shared the stage with Diahann Carol who was the first African American (female or male)  to ever be nominated for an Emmy as well as the first African American woman to star in her own TV show back in 1968. Kerry is the first African American woman to lead a network television drama since 1974. This is a win in itself. Robbed. Robbed I tell you. ROBBED. @kerrywashington is without question the MOST OUTSTAND...

Kanye West is no stranger to fashion as well as Solange Knowles who were both spotted this weekend front row during New York Fashion Week attending Alexander Wang's fashion show. Also in attendance were Kerry Washington , Terry Richardson ,  Courtney Love and Miguel who sat front row next to Kanye West. I wonder if Kanye and Miguel discussed a possible collabo?

Fashion lovers across the world are rejoicing this week during New York Fashion Week including celebs like Kerry Washington . Miss Washington was seen in a flattering Stella McCartney floral number making her way  from the Project Runway show earlier today. Photos: Pacific Coast News  I'm not even going to lie Kerry Washington's fashion is usually hell on wheels unless she's in character as Olivia Pope but this look suits her very well. And speaking of Kerry, miss thang can be seen on the cover of Glamour magazine's October issue where she talks about her super secret marriage to NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha and her reasoning for being so private. CL:  You even managed to get married in June without anyone knowing. KW:  Absolutely! I’m walking around in the world with my ring. And when people say congratulations, I say thank you. But I’m going to continue to not talk about it and just let it unfold. CL:  It must have been satisfying to ...

Viacom has acquired the rights to air episodes of ABC's Scandal from seasons 1 and 2 starting in the Fall on BET and will also air season 3 episodes after they've aired on ABC according to Hollywood Reporter . Under the pact, BET will begin airing seasons one and two of the  Kerry Washington  political-fixer drama this summer. Additionally, original episodes from the upcoming third season of the  Shonda Rhimes  series will air no sooner than eight days after original first-run episodes are broadcast on ABC. The deal for off-network repeats extends to additional seasons of the drama if it should continue its run (likely).   The sale comes as studios continue to enter the syndication market early ( Scandal  has produced a total of 29 episodes in its two seasons) in a bid to generate instant revenue rather than waiting for the typical 100-episode mark to explore off-network deals. This is a good look for BET, but I'd like some new music broadcasts i...

Tyler Perry's new comedy Peebles  directed by Tina Gordon Chism staring  Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington , David Alan Grier and S. Epatha Merkerson  premiered last night in Hollywood. Along with the beautiful starring cast guests included the HBIC's and who's who of Hollywood making for one beautiful movie premiere. Other notable guests... Peebles hits theaters tomorrow May 10. I'm going to see this just because I'm feeling the distinguished David Alan Grier but can we just salute Miss Carroll for all her elegance, grace and beauty.
