Janelle Monae Is The New Face Of CoverGirl!!

Are you shocked?

I'm not. I've been singing the praises of this girl's looks for a while now so I am of the opinion that she is beyond qualified to be in this position.

Janelle confirmed the news via her Twitter account with a simple tweet:

 I’m strong. I’m beautiful. I AM A COVERGIRL!!!!

CoverGirl confirmed the news via Twitter as well.

I know you didn't think she was going to ditch he signature look for a major endorsement deal!!

Be sure to pick up Janelle's 10 page CoverGirl debut in the September issue of Vogue magazine.

VIDEO: Nas Performing "Daughters" + Album Release Party Pics

Image
Nas stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman last night to perform his new single "Daughters". I love the fact that Nas performed last night in and attended his album release party last night for his new album Life Is Good in the same outfit. None of that Hollywood fake shit here. The evening looked like nothing but fun with friends in attendance such as Chef Roble, Busta Rhymes and even a cheerful Jay Z all came out to support Nas on the release of his new album which hit stores today. Have a looksee!!
