Let the Faux Promotion Continue

I'm really feeling these new rules and wanting to see how Jay Z creates and abides by them. This dude is a trendsetter among all trades.

Although I take shots at Jay and Kanye West's attempts at implying they are beyond the basic promotional stages in their career, what they are doing is a form of press and promotion but they are doing it on their terms which is simply going to markets and media outlets that the average rapper/artist couldn't. Once again, simply shitting on people and careers.

How dope is it that Jay is releasing on the fourth of July? The hoods across America will be so ratchet this Independence Day.

This is promotion but not your average promotion...who promotes their album less than 30 days before it's release with no music? Shit, when did he start recording? #newrules

BTW, congrats to Jay Z and Roc Nation for acquiring Kevin Durant as their newest client to add to the roster of their growing sports agency.

Now all I have to do is do a little research to find out why, other than the fact he is Jay Z, all these big names in the sports world are signing on to this newly developed sports agency. Feel free to explain it to me in the comments to save me some time.
