First Lady Michelle Obama Releases Hip Hop Album To Fight Obesity
First Lady Michelle Obama is taking her Let's Move campaign up a notch by incorporating hip hop in the nutrition program. Yeah that's right, the FLOTUS is dropping a hip hop album...all in an effort to promote and influence healthy eating habits.
" “Let’s Move!” program plans to release a hip hop album complete with 19 songs and 10 music videos in conjunction with the Partnership for a Healthier America and Hip Hop Public Health."
Helping Mrs. Obama out with album content will be artists like Ashanti, Run DMC, Doug E. Fresh and more. Jordin Sparks has already lent her vocals for the track "Everybody" which was released back in June including an official video.
The Let's Move program album is set to be released on September 30 with videos appearing in 40 NYC schools while expanding later in other major cities.
Just when you thought hip hop couldn't get positive our First Lady finds a way to dispel that myth.
