FASHION PAUSE: Jay Z and Barneys To Collaborate On Holiday Collection

Jay Z along with a list of  high end designers will feature their clothing in upscale department store Barneys New York over this holiday season for A New York Christmas, their annual holiday campaign, where 25% of the proceeds will go to Jay's Sean Carter Scholarship Foundation.

Fans and fashion lovers can purchase custom campaign pieces in hues of black, gold and silver starting from $70 to $33k by Rick Owens, Balenciaga,  Lanvin and others on November 20 online and in stores.

Jay obviously is simply lending his name to the campaign not the items for sale.

If you get a chance to head down to the Barneys flagship store make sure you stop by Mr. Carter's in store boutique aptly titled BNY SCC Gallery.

“Everything that encompasses ‘A New York Holiday’—the items chosen, the amazing designers that participated, the windows, the design of the BNY SCC Gallery—represents a perfect example of a unique and groundbreaking collaboration that I hope demonstrates how inspiring New York has been to me," Carter said in a press release.

BTW, last year's holiday theme at Barneys was Disney and the year before Lady Gaga had the same honor as Jay has this year.
