Gina And Pat Neely Headed For Divorce

Last week should have been dubbed get your shit and get out week with the news of so many well known marriages ending. The most shocking news to many was the demise of the Khalifa's (Wiz and Amber Rose) and/or Randy Jackson's marriages but for me it had to be the news of Pat and Gina Neely divorcing.

Now don't get me wrong, I can name about 5 things that may have contributed to the ending of the Neely's marriage from what I saw on their Food Network show Down Home With The Neelys but  must admit I wasn't expecting this news. 

After 20 years of marriage as well as two spent separated  Gina Neely filed for divorce last week citing old faithful...irreconcilable differences as well a joint issued statement.

Today we announce that we are ending our marriage of 20 years for irreconcilable differences. This was a tough decision, but we believe it is the best decision for us. As parents of two beautiful adult daughters that we love dearly, we will continue to be involved in each other’s lives as parents and friends. Together we have built a strong brand as The Neely’s. Moving forward our focus will be on our individual brands and we are optimistic about our respective futures. We ask for your prayers as we go through this transition and honor our request for privacy at this time.

I know one person is probably praising this news of the Neely's divorce....Pat's mother!! I don't care what anyone says, that woman did not care for Gina and I watched their show faithfully most times on mute.

Anywho, it looks like the couple won't be able to shake one another so easily with the various business deals that they have going but at least they have lucrative gigs going on.

Last year, the couple closed their Memphis barbecue restaurant chain to pursue projects on the national level, including Gina Neely's George Foreman Weight Loss Challenge, her new line of Green Giant foods and Pat Neely's partnership with Family Dollar to show people how to food shop on a budget.
