Shaun Robinson Departs 'Access Hollywood' After 16 Years
Don't get too sad about Shaun Robinson's departure from Access Hollywood, she wasn't fired and she's walking away with a sweet NBCUniversal deal under her belt.
Since 1999 we've gotten use to seeing Shaun reporting the newest and latest entertainment news but she is turning in her microphone (briefly) for a less public position. She along with her production company, Robin Hood Productions, has acquired a development deal with NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution.
This deal will allow Robinson to develop and/or produce unscripted and scripted shows under the NBCUniversal's domestic distribution department. Shaun isn't done being in front of the camera all together. She states that she would love to have her own talk show.
“I would love to have my own show, and I think I have a lot to say,” she said. “My dream job would be a younger, hipper version of ‘Inside the Actors Studio."
Much success and luck to Shaun as well as her production company. I'm simply happy that she wasn't let go for some younger less talented co-anchor AND she got a deal to go!
