Amber Rose's "Slut Walk" Issues
If you follow Amber Rose on any of her social media platforms then you must be familiar with her Slut Walk. If you don't, then this next line is for you.
SLUT
A word that exploded into a new but disturbing context after a Toronto police officer told a crowd of college women that if they wanted to avoid sexual assault, they shouldn’t dress like sluts. This sparked a worldwide campaign that outraged men and women across the country. We join the movement on this cause against sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality.
While Ambs should be soooooo happy and excited about her upcoming walk against victim shaming on October 3 in L.A. she has a pretty large obstacle in her way. The female artists that are down to attend the walk (Amber sent just about every female celebrity a Twitter invite) want upwards of $30k something Amber is not ready to give out. Especially when she, as she claims, isn’t receiving “1 red cent“. Amber took to Twitter to vent her frustrations.
It's sad how every female artist I've asked (That's available) to perform at my Slut Walk are trying to charge me 30k-40k smh 😒

Hopefully Amber and all the non-sluts of the world can still carry on their walk with or without female artists.
